Moms Run Stronger is a 12-week strength and running program to help you safely return to running postpartum.

Mamas, we see YOU. You’re tired, you’re overwhelmed, and frustrated.

You just wanted to be able to do the things you used to do, but you don’t even know where to start. The struggle to get off the floor those first few weeks (months, if we’re being honest) is real. It feels like every bit of strength you once had, just disappeared. We are here to remind you that you are stronger than you think. Your body just brought a beautiful human into this world and has been through a lot along the way. So be kind to yourself as you start this journey.

It can feel impossible to get back to your previous exercise routine. It’s hard to imagine having time for YOU, when your whole day feels like one big continuous workout without any rest breaks. Perhaps you are feeling frustrated because you’ve tried other workouts or went out for that first run before your body was truly ready. You aren’t alone in feeling this way.

It’s ok to start over. It's ok to start two years postpartum. It's ok to be nervous to start at all.

But most importantly, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own (you don’t need anything else on your plate). Let us guide you through 12 weeks of re-discovering what you are truly capable of. The Moms Run Stronger program provides strength workouts and walk/run progressions curated to not only get you stronger, but prepare you for a successful return to running.

With so much information (and misinformation) regarding postpartum fitness to sift through, we wanted to create a program that was educational, simple, and easy for any Mom to adapt to her busy schedule. It was our goal to create a program that helped moms to feel supported and empowered on their journey to returning to exercise.

Moms Run Stronger is more than an online program. It is a community of moms learning, growing, and getting stronger together.

Meet Rachel

My name is Rachel Pelletier, owner of Mamabear Fitness. I'm a health coach and prenatal and postpartum corrective exercise specialist. Additionally I have several years of experience working for Maine Medical Center in cardiac rehab. I am passionate about using functional fitness programs to help moms like you improve strength, confidence, and overall health. I enjoy recreational running as a way to keep my heart healthy and my head clear.


Meet Danielle

My name is Danielle Kroot. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and running coach. Being a marathon runner and triathlete, I enjoy treating and coaching those in the running and triathlon community. I am also a co-founder of Starting Line Physical Therapy and Run Studio. In addition to being your go-to gal for all things running, I am a Mama of an adventurous toddler and expecting another baby in August 2023.

FAQ’s

+ HOW MANY WEEKS POSTPARTUM SHOULD I BE TO START THE PROGRAM?

Ideally, you should be 6 weeks postpartum and have received clearance from your doctor. We also highly encourage Mamas to consult with a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to provide a more thorough examination and address any symptoms early on. This is geared for Mamas that are looking to return to running safely and have not yet started a structured strength training routine.

+ DOES IT MATTER WHERE I LIVE?

Although Rachel & Danielle both live in Maine, the Moms Run Stronger program is virtual and can be done anywhere! We welcome all mamas, near and far. :)
